Wow! Is that its real coloration?

I took it at the end of last year, so I'm no longer entirely positive—the original is on a hard drive in another country at the moment. I think the saturation was increased a bit, but I don't recall adjusting the hue very radically. There was a fairly wide range of coloration on those grasshoppers.

This is a great shot. Thats a good eye and I too thought it was a real background for sure. Nicely done.

I really like this. You got us all with the wall, but it works wonderfully. I love the enclusion of the pink branch and the words to the far left gives you the knowledge that the background isn't real. It's good you left that in. No critique on this one, in my opinion, it's perfect.

Haha! I dont know what to say really. The little guy is alone, and does solitude really have to be JUST human? The urban area behing the monkey makes the look like its all alone in the concrete jungle, which therefore is solitude. I like it. Perhaps a little tweaking of the image to help present itself a little nicely, but otherwise I think its solid for this topic.

Yeahh such poor monkey, he's alone in the "Urban jungle" so sad :(

Very nice photo. I would like to have seen a bit more of the reflection of the flower. I also would have liked the flower not to be cut off at the top. The details in the petals are great.

The picture is indeed very sharp and detailed. Only thing as said above is the cropping that needs some tending to. The reflection is a critical part to show an additional texture in the frame. Very nice processing and lighting indeed.

Nice detail in the flower petals. I like the angle and the lighting too. IMHO this photo would go from good to great if the flower wasn't cut off at the top. Love the reflection. Maybe take the pic again with a little more of the reflection showing too?
