The DOF looks very artificial. Did you blur the picture by your own?

Nope I didn't add any Photoshop. This is actually how it came out of camera. I was at 200mm about a foot away so the DOF is from the short distance. Not faked at all.

Very impressive straight out of the camera...the DOF is really good, I like how it blurs out, but just around the spider you can really see the details of the wood...very nice.

Thanks Jen. I do admit I had an automated sharpening step for the resize which you can see in the out of focus area. But I didn't add any effect. I should reprocess it and not touch it at all...
