You can also take two exposures, one for the sky and one for the foreground and then blend them to achieve the same effect.

I like the way that you have framed this shot, and you have seen a great opportunity here (most of the battle for creating great images it would seem). The lighting does seem difficult here and the suggestions to "save your sky" would have been worth employing (but that's part of the fun of learning ;-0). Well done.

Perfect opportunity for a graduated ND filter. The sky can often be saved with one. I might also recommend getting a little closer to this subject. Since the doors are open, I kinda want to see more of the inside.
