Nice composition, interesting perspective. The lines are pulling you into the photograph. I find the blown out bit in the centre very distracting and makes it very hard to look at the photo. I don't really have an opinion about the darkness and graininess, I'm not sure it quite works.

doilyboy (Martin Grey Gottlieb) added a critique 9 months ago:

I like the composition, the wide lens, angle, etc. I also like the gritty texture which works well for industrial, but I think you're fighting yourself with the tinting, which ads a bit of surreal quality to the image when it seems to me that the intention of the grit is to show the 'truth'...? That's how it strikes me. SO I'd like to see the same image with more natural, or if anything, a cooler temp tint.

I like the colours, but think that the grainyness is a bit too much. The colours to me give the picture a post-apocalyptic feel to it, which I like very much.

Very eye catching point of view.

I've seen that already, and though I complained about underexposure the first time, I actually prefered it to this version. Grain doesn't look like grain but digital noise, and this is what is bothering me most. Otherwise, it still has a great composition and very strong impact.

i like the wide angle... it seems as if the picture is purple and green on my screen... i really like the idea

I like the tone and the point of view, the sky is just great.
If you have the RAW file, why don't you try to work on the underexposed part? Just develop the RAW adding +1EV and add it as second layer, cutting the part of the photo which is correctly exposed.

Love the look and feel of this shot. The perspective is nice, except maybe too much of the overpass. Nice effect.

Thank you so much for the feature and advised comments. They're all much appreciated!
Did try something in the spirit of a dark comic strip !

Nice shot, but a little heavy on the right side - compositionally speaking.

Best,
Jon
