love the golden color...would almost say i'd like to see it a little farther back from this particular tree trunk, but not knowing what else is around, that might not be true.

This is very pretty. I just think the framing/cropping could be more dramatic. If you crop the top 20% off the image and crop the right to loose the leaves in the lower right corner, I think you have a more interesting image, maybe even a little bit abstract. Just MHO...

Ooo, I agree with beamer, if you bring the crop on the left into the branch, it'll might help frame the image, making the yellow the subject... love how all aspects of the photo come in and out of focus.
