Wow, Vazaar has its ways to tempt you... Just days after I cut myself off the site I get a feature notification...

Thanx everyone voting for it - and not reading this, very probably :)

Thx for the positive comments, Arne and psychodudu!

Andrew,
I liked your idea so I tried it. Here is the result:

supremacy.hu/groundzero/pix/largeplain.jpg

Is that what you meant?

bioLarzen (In retreat) said 1 year ago:

Oops, sorry, its plane, of course...

So it's

supremacy.hu/groundzero/pix/largeplane.jpg

bioLarzen (In retreat) said 1 year ago:

I mean

supremacy.hu/groundzero/pix/largeplane.jpg

I'll get it right sooner or later :))))

psychodudu (Andrew Parker) said 1 year ago:

Yeah, sort of. I'm not sure if it's big enough, but anyway...the idea is often just as important, and that's what you got the feature for. People are often willing to forgive weaknesses in other areas of an image if they feel they are getting a strong enough experience through the concept of one's work, I have found. So well done, and don't give up. I quit WS (I don't regret that), it was like being chained to your worst enemy sometimes. Vazaar is an entirely different experience.

bioLarzen (In retreat) said 1 year ago:

I tried different plane sizes but larger than that got pixelated beyond repair.

Left WS also :) Realized they (WS and here) are not my level. Maybe one day I'll decide I'm good enough and make my return (of the Jedi :))).

Thx for the comment and take care.

jodosh (Johnny Haddock) added a critique 1 year ago:

Don't know if it was possibly but if you back up a few steps the pillars might look more parallel, but a gorgeous shot (the spotlight, but that has already been said)

bioLarzen (In retreat) said 1 year ago:

I was standing basically totally cornered into a small niche - no moving at any direction but forward...

Thanx for the comments!

oneye (Rodion Kovenkin) added a critique 1 year ago:

Im with jodosh Very interesting one.

tuscanice (Jo) added a critique 1 year ago:

Love details and colors but I agree about the spotlight. Nice job:)

bioLarzen (In retreat) said 1 year ago:

Thanx everyone.

I decided to return and reshoot it but first get that damn light turned off :DDD

So bio-ish with these harsh color spots and uncommon composition.

bioLarzen (In retreat) said 1 year ago:

Hehe :))) I mean I saw that three of my pix has new comments, I say to myself "Looks like gazdi is here again!"

Bingo :))))

bioLarzen (In retreat) said 1 year ago:

And especially thank you for making me realize that I have my own trademark style :)))

Pláne most, hogy valszín felhagyok ezzel a játékkal - legalább jó emlékeket is viszek :DDD

gazdi (Csaba Bobák) said 1 year ago:

Ne már! :(

bioLarzen (In retreat) said 1 year ago:

Nem megy ez nekem. Ami nem megy, azt meg, ugye, kár erőltetni...

Another pic from _there_ which is not made by every second visitor. Unsettling. I'd have cloned out that single line in the lower right corner.

bioLarzen (In retreat) said 1 year ago:

You might be right about that wire - I'm not confident with PS enough to make any changes that are not absolutely neccessary :(

And, good news, it was about the last pic from this set I think are even remotely good enough to appear :)

bioLarzen (In retreat) said 1 year ago:

Thanx for the comments!

mva, same thing here, but I swear I had the idea earlier than I saw that commercial (which I loved!) :)

(Have to admit: I made a version of this with the frame around my neck, worn like a necklace and that was an idea I got from the ad :)

philippe (Philippe Reichert) said 1 year ago:

I know this one and I'm sure it's heading to the front page once more...

bioLarzen (In retreat) said 1 year ago:

I hope it was the prophet in you speaking out loud :)))

(Funny: seems like we wery busy commenting on each other's shots at the same time :)))

Interesting shot. Lots of unknown left to the imagination - what was there, what was replaced by a much larger wall.

bioLarzen (In retreat) said 1 year ago:

Thanks.

jodosh (Johnny Haddock) added a critique 1 year ago:

I love the shot, but the contrast seems a bit high to me, the highlights of the wall are what catch my eye not the green

woodpulp (A. Craig Snyder) added a critique 1 year ago:

I'm a little confused. perhaps the green could have been brought out a little more. I agree with jodosh on the contrast as well. i like the composition of the shot, just needs some tweaking.

Blumie (Sabine) added a critique 1 year ago:

This is really a very special composition. But I also think, that it does not fit perfect in the green topic. But still I wish you all the luck.

bioLarzen (In retreat) said 1 year ago:

Seems like it's not gonna be on the front page on public demand :DDD

Thanx for the comments, folx, at last I'm asking for crits and I get crits!

philippe (Philippe Reichert) said 1 year ago:

Interesting structure. At first, I thought the image was upside down...
...and thanks a lot for the nice words.

bioLarzen (In retreat) said 1 year ago:

Yes, it looks like upside down because of the positioning of the cross - but in fact it's not - it stands like this, like a marked spot for satanists...

The pic was taken in Kraków, Poland.

Your kind words are not less appreciated!
