no lack of contrast for me, nice shot, nice b&w.
Maybe a squarred crop, with a bit more dark on the top, and less on both sides would match better imho.

I agree with the above. The contrast could be fixed, but I don't think I'd do a squared crop, I think I'd like a longer crop... I do agree it needs less on the sides of the picture.. It's almost too distracting. I love the feel of it though. It's like going to adrug deal you know will go bad, or seeing a friend that seems to be in a bad place in their life, but you want to help.

Agree with most of what has been said.
As for the vintage nature of this shot: my impression of most older photos are that they are harsh and yet blurred to some extent, especially in terms of lens distortion. Maybe playing around with some vignetting both in value and sharpness. The contrast will also make it seem older.

Very nicely done, altough it looks like it's faling on the right a little no? But very nice symetry!

Thanks Marc, you're true and have a good eye
This is MY human problem, i lean on the right
but i'm pretty sure it's not me, but the camera
LOL
I agree with the above, lack of contrast, for me, makes it had to find anything to focus on. Maybe a closer crop could help?
