Very nice capture! The shoes in the foreground really pop, and that's the idea, i think with this shot. I might have cropped a little also.

I'd love to see more contrast to bring out her freckles and the cat's stripes - but that would "expose the overexposure" even more. If the direction of the lighting for the cat's head could have been controlled, could have maybe avoided that. Fantastic composition and 11 out of 10 on the cute scale :)

Well, it's cute enough - that's a given, I guess. I still think this could be saved with some PS. Nice capture!

As people requested - the image in colour. I like it in BW much better, but I think its a good image in color too. I shot this on Bronica - and it reminds me why I love medium format for things that don't move.

So take a look at the BW and tell me which you think is better - and more importantly, why it one is better.

Definately the color! All I can say is Wow!!

This IS lovely. I think I do prefer the color version better.

BUT, I am curious why the colors are so different in the refection that in the real object. Especially noticeable in the mountain on the right of frame, reflection is quite a bit greener that the real mountain. The mountain on the left is the opposite, the real mountain has a lot of color but the reflected mountain seems desaturated???

This must be the same place that you took that amazing shot of the open windows...the light is just perfect. (and if I am right about the place that must be komma5)

Jens, what an absolutely beautiful use of light. The classic triangle is so evident in this wonderful piece. The tones are spot on and the position of the subject and secondary subject are remarkable.

Seen a lot of those little (baby) frogs, nearby the nature area where I am living. U showing us how small those frogs are, but maybe next time U could use another composition instead of the hand. (maybe something related to nature, where he belongs)

while i agree the puting it in nature with a natural background would have been better...it was in situe in as we were sitting having a picnic when jumped onto the hand...it wasnt placed...bt i agree it would have looked better elsewhere

I actually like how it is on the hand because it shows that the person in the photo showed such interest to pick up the little guy for a better look.
