Nice procesessing, but would love to see or one bottle or a whole bunch of it..
SeekingFocus (Jason Langley) added a critique 1 year ago:
The composition seems a bit weak here. I would suggest maybe focusing on only one bottle or try a less cluttered background. Also, the top of the right bottle is cropped off, I would try to change that if possible.
The tones are just about prefect though.
barcelonaphblog (Carlos Lorenzo) said 1 year ago:
Hi, I have to say that I totally agree with your criticism. I took this one in a hurry. I don't like the cropped top and I should have concentrated on just one bottle. At that moment I was fascinated by the label and green tones but unfortunately I paid no attention to details. Thanks for your help.
Bastian (Bastian Löhrer) added a critique 25 days ago:
It needs to be straightened and it's too green to me. I'd boost the contrast.

I love a well-shot photo that makes me laugh. Nice job with the lines, the tones, the motion, the whole package.

It's a great great shot. It's able to communicate joy and motion in a cold, vivid Winter day. I love it. Really !

This is off topic but your portfolio is amazing too. Really great work. Btw, i prefer the colour version. ;)
barcelonaphblog (Carlos Lorenzo) said 1 year ago:
Even the thumbnail shines calling you to peek inside. I had not seen such attractive bright image in a long time. The rust detail is wonderful and the bokeh lovely.
psychodudu (Andrew Parker) said 1 year ago:
Colour works better for me on this image, Vern. The b_w version lacks depth, and detail imho. This is just lovely, gorgeous tones and wonderful colour contrasts.

You can tell that this was taken just before sunset in the "Magic Light" zone.
Nice

thanks, all, for your kind words.
This is taken at Master-of-nets Garden, Suzhou, China.
A saying claims that "the gardens in the area south of the Lower Yangtse are better than any other gardens under the sun, and the gardens of Suzhou beat them all"
With a history of more than 2,500 years, the Suzhou gardens were brought into existence by harmonising buildings, rockeries, watercourses and vegetation, transcending reality to ideality. A large number of the Ming and Qing Dynasties gardens have survived to the present days and are spread all over the city of Suzhou. 9 of them have been inscribed on the World Heritage List by UNESCO during recent years.
One Chinese saying 移步易景 perfectly describes the gardens in Suzhou. It means just by moving one single step, the view in front of you is changed. That's why one can really spend hours in a garden not so big but enjoying every moment of it, and you will never get bored of it :)

I don't know about running naked, but I definitely like the shot. I love all of the lines that curve throughout this entire shot.

I really love this one, it is well composed, balanced, pleasing to the eye. The lines look like ying and yang, a perfect harmony. Nothing to object.

Don't know what it is but it's a beauty. Stained glass dome?
barcelonaphblog (Carlos Lorenzo) said 1 year ago:
It is a stained glass ceiling inside Palau de la Musica (concert hall) in Barcelona. It is a beautiful sample of Catalan Art Nouveau also known as modernisme. Thanks for your comment duncmc.

I find this a very appealing photo. It light playing off the shadows draws the eye in and has a romantic, mythical feel to it.
manickavelu (velu) said 1 year ago:
nice colors. very inviting. the quality of light seems like it was a mid-afternoon shot. if not what time of the day was it shot?

Great composition.. Think this fits the theme perfectly, as it seems everyone else does too :)
barcelonaphblog (Carlos Lorenzo) said 1 year ago:
I like the projected light on the ground and the symmetry with the gate, plus the blueish soft tone on the cobblestones and stonewall.
Nice image. Great greens. I love the label on the Diable Vert! I would almost prefer an interesting take on this bottle alone.
