It's a very sad beach picture, the angle is nice but i think you could have played a bit with the colors

I have a hard time deciding where to focus, the dock or the couple. I really like the sharpness of the couple though, and the forground really gives the photo a mood! Good job!

The foreground really gives me the mood of the shot.
To me, it feels like even with the decay and such on the beach love will still survive.
Great idea and i like the execution other than knowing for sure what the focal point was.

I don't get "sad" at all, lovely image. The lack of interest focus is a bit of a problem, not sure how to solve it with this capture. A wider lens and closer would have yielded a very different feel and might have solved, but that's a re-shoot...

I get a hard-times kind of feel from this shot. Two people feeling that's al they have at the moment. Very interesting.
