:-). Nope, it's not a multilayer photoshop work. :-) Central station down town Stockholm city. Rush hour. The guy has been there several times. I think he is some kind of one person installation art. Haven't asked. Thinking of joining him next time though. :-) You are right Brandon. Pure Zen.

In this case - wonderful catch :-))

:-) It would almost be like Tom Hanks when he was running in the film Forrest Gump.

i think its a little overexposed around the edges of the shell.
odon (Odon Dias) said 1 year ago:
Yes, the contour is shining. I just had decided do not disturbe the living being that was sleeping inside the shell (or something like) to put it in the rigth position. ;-) Thanks for comment.

Great colors and details. But I don't like the position of the subject.
VernonTrent (Vernon Trent) added a critique 1 year ago:
@bsurprised
what is wrong with the position?
@odon
I guess you have used a macro lens for this shot?
perhaps a flatter angle to the object would have given more DOF effect.
the compositon is ok for a macro shot as it has a documentary touch as well. you should boost the mids and try to give more contrast to it, so the shel would be more on focus.
cheers

@BSurprised: Well, thanks for the comment. That shell was scaling a wall and had stopped for a nap. It's not on the ground.
@VernonTrent: Thank you so much for the hints. I like that part about the documentary touch. Yes, I was experimenting a new set of lens.

its great,
i also see the blue

I think you should not hesitate to play with the curves and boost the contrast, here. The mood is perfect but the black looks grey...

Definitely one of the most interesting in Symmetry that I've seen. Great job!
JENRIKS (Jens & Erik) said 1 year ago:
Thank you all again! Symmetry is on of our most popular topics when taking photos and it lies so much beauty and peace in symmetric photos...

I actually think the post-processing employed in this image works very well; it really makes the most of the metallic material of the walls.
