Thank you, Joka - it was taken during a fiesta in Spain. The dancers were wearing filmy scarlet costumes, decorated with beads. If you look into the shadows you can see faces, and feet and legs...
Can anyone tell me how I request a critique for a photo, and whether it is too late to do it for this one?
annabc (Anna Cameron) said 1 year ago:
OK, so I have just seen the box on the right! But when I clicked request it asked me if I wanted to spend 5 critiques on this, leaving 3 - I'd be interested in knowing how it works, but I can't find any info anywhere...
Sher (Sher Hilliard) said 1 year ago:
Anna - Any time you leave a critique for someone else who has requested them, you earn 1 critique credit. When you yourself wish to have a photo critiqued, you "spend" 5 of those credits you "earned" by critiquing others. Across the top of the screen there is a category for "critique requests." Any photo listed there, the photographer has requested critiques for.
Hope that helps!

Sorry, I meant to add that you can request critiques at any time, so no, it's not to late for this photo.
Good luck!

@annabc: I saw the faces, but I am curious at all ;-)
I am also a newcomer. I don`t understand, how a photo becomes featured...
(Your picture: Perhaps depends on my elder screen, but some of the red fields are very grainy.)

Very nice effect, reminds me a lot of paintings and painters from different ages or schools.

at first glance this looks like the shot was taken on film and then painted red-there is so much to see and great movement-well done on this shot!

I'm really sorry I missed it. It's wonderful and it reminds me to a Toulouse Lautrec painting.
annabc (Anna Cameron) said 1 year ago:
Thank you, ikol22 - it is the first time any of my work has ever been compared with Toulouse Lautrec! I am glad you like it.

Bonita foto, Anna. ¿Está hecha en las fiestas de "moros y cristianos" de Alicante?. Felicidades por la imagen.

Hecha en las fiestas de 'moros y cristianos', si, pero en Denia! Gracias...
