Wow. This is incredible!!!
I never saw such a tiny frog/toad.
mysight (Carl H. Sr.) added a critique 1 year ago:
He is a little dark, but the shot really shows off his tiny size.

Incredible sharpness and great use of depth of field.

That is a tiny little frog. More fill light would have taken this image from good to great.
owenhaberf (Owen Haberfield) added a critique 1 year ago:
Yep - cool shot, the light is the only thing I can criticise here, and I think most people have already pointed out how you could have improved that. Is this actually a tiny frog species or just a young froglet?

Nice shot, the top part of the picture does not add much though. Perhaps a bit more light on the frog as well?

Even though this image isn't technically perfect, it's just fun. I voted it up quite a bit, because of that alone.
From time to time I see little frogs like this in my garage. At first I mistake them for bugs, until they jump away in their very froggish manner.

Man that's small. I couldn't agree with Brandon more.

Seen a lot of those little (baby) frogs, nearby the nature area where I am living. U showing us how small those frogs are, but maybe next time U could use another composition instead of the hand. (maybe something related to nature, where he belongs)

while i agree the puting it in nature with a natural background would have been better...it was in situe in as we were sitting having a picnic when jumped onto the hand...it wasnt placed...bt i agree it would have looked better elsewhere

I actually like how it is on the hand because it shows that the person in the photo showed such interest to pick up the little guy for a better look.
ambrosiastar (Ambrosia) added a critique 1 year ago:
awww I love this. It's perfectly focused on the little guy and the hand in the background shows just how small he is.

while i realise you prolly wanted to show how small he is... , i personally prefer eye level shots and manipulate the background by placing them on a leaf or twig... you can still do this with inside so you can control lighting.. anyways just my 2ยข
