I agree with duboaa here. This is really nice - the colors are nice and warm! It's a bit distracting with just a hair of the door handle missing. Another idea is maybe shooting at a different angle a bit so the line of focus goes diagonally across the frame. Mix that with a touch more DOF and it would really make that rust stand out!!

Nice use of DOF, nice lighting, interesting subject. Part of the subject being cropped off ruins the whole photo for me. Actually the more I look at it the more the DOF looks off to me. Was the background blurred post processing?

Nice colours but I agree with above comments. Would be nice not to have cropped as tightly and a bit more focus would work well if possible.

I agree about the framing would be better a little looser. I'm not sure I would have put this one in "Rust", there isn't really much rust on this, more of a patina I would call it. This might do better in "Shallow DOF".

My mind questions the doorknob handle falling out of the frame to the left, the slight bit that is missing draws my eye. And now for the positive- the warm colors are wonderful and the subject matter is interesting.

This just misses being a great capture. Great colors and decent composition. The lower portion of the photo leaves something to be desired.

Nice photo of rust. Nice warm colors. I like the texture.
But the doorknob is cropped by the frame...IMHO, a smaller focal lenght would be better, just to let breath the doorknob on the left...
