Excellent composition and marvellous texture. Only complaint is the "haloing" of the building and the horizon from what looks to be a shadow/highlight adjustment. If this is the case, I would recommend reprocessing the image with a different radius to prevent the haloing.

Woah, this is great, I really like the tone of the sky. Overall I kind of feel like the image is lacking color, but that does a good job to set the mood. I don't think you really need to change anything here.

It's a great image by itself. The tones are really wonderful. The framing is not necessary, IMHO.

+1 on the border, doesn't do a whole lot for the image and distracts me from the real beauty of the scene. If it was a little higher res and and didn't have the border I would be able to enjoy it and appreciate it more.

Beautiful!! The details in the small windows gets blown out a little. The little tiny bit of the arch visible at the very bottom of the frame could have been cropped out. Both of these are very minor comments to a gorgeous image.

There's a symmetry here, but it isn't fully realized because of the perspective distortion. I think that if the perspective was corrected and the contrast punched up, the image would have a lot more visual impact.

A nice view of a fantastic place. However I think this picture lacks a little more contrast, specially on the "Ribeira" buildings.

Wow. Excellent use of minimalism in the extreme. I agree with the observation about the green cast, but it doesn't get in the way of the image as a whole.

Love the minimalistic approach here - the detail in the water splash is excellent!

thanks. i didn't see the green cast, when i uploaded this one. it would be fairly easy to remove, but i'm going to leave it like it is.
the white in this photo is real, there is no photoshop involved. the "background" for this picture was a softbox with the bright white as a result.
