This reminds me of ants making an anthill, only it wasn't ants and it wasn't an anthill. I like how the backdrop isn't completely plain. The clouds add very nice balance to the photo. This is perfect to the point it seems unreal. Amazing job.

I think the darkness adds to the image, thats just me.

I really like this image and think that if you had tried to get too much lighter, you would've blown out the neon.
bigoode (Anthony le Bourlier) added a critique 1 year ago:
This may be stupid, but for me, the red line upper right is important in your construction.
like colors
saturated, but not too much
and like we can see the street, remind us, it's part of something bigger, and people inside, tell us the story is inside on this picture
Shine on

i love the perspective that you've got on this one. just find the structure outside a bit busy for the rest of the frame...it's a nice contrast maybe, but for me it detracts from the abstract quality of the stairs and the feet.

Congrats on the feature Jenine, that's really neat!
jeninja-inja (Jenine Lindeque) said 1 year ago:
thanks everyone and for the feature! This is one of the government buildings in Jaipur, the picturesque capital city of Rajasthan (India). This is not really a tourist attraction but we had a awesome guide, he stopped here for 5 minutes, I took this picture, he had a ciggie, a tight schedule to Delhi, so that was it. One of my favourite pictures of the trip. Thanks again!
Ronaldus (Ronald van Beek) added a critique 1 year ago:
Actually this is the Palace of the Winds. The harem ladies of the Maharaja could peep down at the folk below without being seen themselves...
Great symmetric shot, ditto contrasts, could use a little tilt to the left though...

Thanks everybody for your comments. It's very interesting the discussion about vignetting, that I added during developing to obtain a somewhat dirty image (so and as I see the oil industry in general).
The sepia dominant already was in the original light, although I emphasized a little during processing.
(excuse my english)
