I don't have a problem with the reflections. I might have cropped more on either side and possibly burned in some of the lighter areas on the snake. I really like the contrast in the snake with it's surroundings. Maybe a tad sharper focus on the snakes head?

I love the composition and the textures...looks like a painting to me. Well done!

I'm a little chicken-hearted when it comes to snakes so if this were my shot it definitely wouldn't have been under the category of "pets!" - kudos to you! :)
I do agree with the comment about the bottom crop; I also agree with the comment of the contrast between subject and surroundings. Nicely done.

Is this really a pet? My only criticism is that it may not be appropriate for the theme. This looks like it was taken in a forest or a zoo. Otherwise it's a beautiful shot.

Well, it isn't MY pet, but it is someone's. Thanks all.

I stand corrected! What a nice environment and a beautiful snake (as well as a stunning shot)!

it's a very attractive theme, but it's also hard to take a perfect picture. I think, it's a good perspective, but the pic has too much flash-light. The reflections are too harsh.
and I wouldnt cutted the bottom line like this; the snake's body is too close to the line.
but it's a nice span, as the snake (pyton?) goes up.
