nice capture-i think the houses etc need to be at the bottom as i feel it gives this image a sense of scale (which feels very big). i would of maybe cropped a bit from the top-but well done!

I just wish some more land was showing. That little black strip is just not enough. Nevertheless the sky and its tones are way cool.

What a great image. I agree with the others - I wonder if you should crop the top a bit more and at the same time show a bit more of the land. Is that water behind the houses, or simply mist? If it is the sea, then for me, the highlight of the water detracts from the clouds - maybe you could have placed the camera lower down so the trees and houses take away that bit.

Thank you all for the comments and critiques. This photo is exactly as I took it. It is not cropped at all. No work done in photoshop. The brighter light above the houses and below the clouds is just normal sky.

I'm agree with u Sher but still nothing special in ur shot....:(

Sorry you feel that way Pi-Production. Could you offer some constructive criticism then?

Hi Sher,
So for ur pic as u said :
"Not cropped" - For this we can do nothing (from the original).
"No work done in Photoshop" - For this we can change the colors of the sky like "gradient" and if it's me I want to see the "blue" of ur sky ;)
Cheers.Eric

Eric..How do I do "gradient" work?

I'm not agree, I think this is a good idea to put only a thin peace of land. Add more land will not add anything to the picture but an useless black area, we don't need to see it as we can easily imagine it.
The shape and the color of the clouds are great.
(how did you put the picture in two topics ?)

I can see why you added the tree and house tops on the bottom for perspective, but it's too distracting for me... almost as if you should either zoom out to catch the trees and houses in entirety, or leave them out altogether. Beautiful sky and color otherwise - great catch.
