thanks hamshire. I have to say I've been fortunate in my life. Although many up here can't see the beauty and only wait to go home and forget the place. They really have no touch of what is around them in the world. Such a shame. Thanks again!

I'm currently spending some time at the Top of the World. Just 700km' south of the north pole on the last piece of land before the pole. To the left is the station I'm living at, in the center the runway and to the right the ocean. We are still in 24 hour sunshine but we do get what looks like will be a sunset and then the sun comes right back up.
