Great! I think he must live in a fairy tale land. Some of the Subjectiv images I've seen really are from a different world it seems. Great capture.

Hah... To my eyes this is clearly a composite image done in Photoshop, so I'm a little surprised to see it featured.
Don't get me wrong, though... It made me laugh and I actually like it. Not sure why, but it makes me think of Monty Python.
Cheers!

If so, it fooled me.

Made me laugh! So human... like a pal stopping by to say 'hi'!

This is just... fantastic!
Photoshop? It fooled me too.

I love this shot and if it is a PS composition, it is damned good. I wonder, Brandon, what elements of this shot make you think it is "clearly a composite image?" I look at the animal's form through the window and wonder how that could be done so convincingly in a composite.

What a fun picture. You can clearly see it's a composite since the donkey is sticking his head in the window, but there's no reflection of donkey head in the glass of the window. But, it's so well done in PS and it makes me smile. Great job.

thanks a lot for such a lot of nice comments.
well - it's a composite, but if it made some of you smile who cares if it is a montage? do you? i don't.
kurt
ps: @beckn32 - i won't forget the reflection next time. ;-)

I like it. Makes me think of Mr. Ed.
The key giveaway of the Photoshoposity of this image is that this fellow is not reflected in the window (perhaps he is a vampire mule!).
I like this very much.

I don't either, Kurt, well done!

Hah... I'm not complaining at all (I have nothing against Photoshop in this context)... I'm just sharing thoughts... and I definitely enjoy when images cause discussion like this. ;)
The giveaway for me (aside from the lack of reflection that Eggplant mentioned) was the source of the light... The light on the animal seems very clean and directional (coming in from the upper-left), but the light on the window seems like it was coming from a different direction or was maybe diffused through some light clouds. And there would probably be a shadow on the tip of the nose, since it's inside the dark room a bit.
I also think the "fuzz" on the chin looks somewhat cropped... In real life it might stick out a little and overlap with the background more.
I definitely give it marks for sense of humor. Good stuff.

(BTW, I didn't mean to leave out Beckn32, who also mentioned the reflection.)

@lbstone - thanks a lot for taking the time and pointing out all the things i forgot to take care of while composing this picture. i appreciate that kind of constructive criticism a lot!
greetings, kurt

humerous - Donkey is way too large for the window though....
