beautiful colours and scene! it certainly fits the theme, both literally and symbolically ...
Jordan (Jordan Young) added a critique 1 year ago:
camera shake is noticeable but adds so much to the image. don't change a thing! it's perfect!

this is a unique blue i like it a lot! the beach and the boat are crisp and the natural blur makes for a smooth backdrop. i like how the sun is over the edge of the horizon enough to be visible but not enough to overcome the photo, it fits nice for the blue topic :)

one more time the vignetting, I would liked it more without it.
Now I'm going to see the retouched one.
Sher (Sher Hilliard) added a critique 1 year ago:
I much prefer your original here over the retouched image. The darkness adds mood and the shading of the sky is wonderful. Nice work!
Paulforrester (Paul Forrester) added a critique 1 year ago:
I prefer this one to the other-interesting looking place!
Laurie (Laurie) added a critique 1 year ago:
This one is better than the retouched I think. Although the sky is very pretty, it's not as prominent as the land features which are really great in silhouette. At any rate it's a very nice image.
lolly (lolly smits) added a critique 1 year ago:
I prefer this too. Good composition, capture of the light.

lovely - where was this taken?
Raza (Raza Akhtar) said 1 year ago:
This is Eze a small village near Nice, France. It was a very rainy day, but it kind of adds to the mood.
Lindy (Lindy G) added a critique 1 year ago:
very lovely ..this is so well done ..!
mikeock (Mike Adams) added a critique 1 year ago:
Wonderful.
I think the fact that it was rainy added to the saturation and thus the reason the colors are so strong.

Congrats on the feature, well deserved!!

This captures, in my opinion, should be absolutely great if not quite completely melted into the dark. It's not possible to distinguish their position and sometime "to imagine" doesn't work properly. The point is that *I love* your works 'cause you're able to capture wonderful scenes and great moments (like this one) but please: more light :-)

The shapness is increabale the contrast on her fishnets is great.

Thanks a lot everyone for the feedback, I agree with Fabrizio a little more light would have made this a great picture. Next time maybe.

That's a beautiful mural. It's beyond graffiti. Lovely slice of definitively urban life.
UnieX (Carlos Crooks) added a critique 1 year ago:
Great capture! The art on the wall is a really good subject for the Urban Life topic. It shows the true life of the Urban Streets.
Cheers!
Madalyn (Madalyn) added a critique 1 year ago:
as philippe said, i love how the mural looks like the street. the sign in the front looks like it's part of the mural! it's really wonderful and creative, but i find the shadow on the top a bit distracting.

As a portrait, this works for me. He's an artist -- dressed in his artisty, creative type of clothing; wearing a bushy rather unkempt moustache; his art is featured behind him. It reflects his personality -- a huge, very open smile. There are a lot of details to highlight this man's character and interests.
I think I would have liked to see more of his face rather than the profile. His face is wonderfully warm! the orange shoulder is the foreground is a teensy bit distracting to me.
I like this work.
Sher (Sher Hilliard) added a critique 1 year ago:
Somehow this photo isn't as sharp as it should be. The subject however is wonderful and I agree with all shiningpig said above...
The subjects face is a bit darker than I would prefer.. but the concept and capture are wonderful. Nice find!
chromadreams (David) added a critique 1 year ago:
I that the darknes is because of the shadow, maybe a little bit more of exposition would repair that
TammyLynn (Tammy) added a critique 1 year ago:
Great portrait. A bit more light on his face would have been nice, but a great catch none the less.

Great colors...wonderful lighting...love the lines of the long exposure...very nice photo...good work!

I love this style of photographies : long exposure and night lights...
But what is the shade on the top-right of this shoot ?
Raza (Raza Akhtar) said 1 year ago:
Good catch; I used a wide angeled lens, so it leaves a black shade at the edges which I didn't clear effectively.
sylvainman (Sylvain Thomin) added a critique 1 year ago:
Good idea, it's like a road but it is not.
Well done.

I like this one much more because sky colour and backlihgting effect, I think is better than the other one.
Dream (Toni) said 1 year ago:
it gives a beautiful reflection on the water too
I really like this shot, Raza. The tones are great, love the feel it gives the image. The sun going down is lost a little back there, but I actually like that it's something you find after looking for a few moments. The motion in the palm, the lines, the glassy ocean...my kinda photo.
