Fantastic! Amazing detail and ambience...great work!
Is it HDR or an ND filter?...i am guessing its HDR.

Pi-Production (Eric Rousset) said 6 months ago:

Thanks Pradeep ;-)
No it's not a HDR but I used a ND400 filter for this long exposure.

Haha! I dont know what to say really. The little guy is alone, and does solitude really have to be JUST human? The urban area behing the monkey makes the look like its all alone in the concrete jungle, which therefore is solitude. I like it. Perhaps a little tweaking of the image to help present itself a little nicely, but otherwise I think its solid for this topic.

Pi-Production (Eric Rousset) said 1 year ago:

Yeahh such poor monkey, he's alone in the "Urban jungle" so sad :(

The only thing I would like to change in this photo is to add a little bit more blur to the tram.

This is a stunning image. really well done. I prefer it without all the borders, but I love the image. Soon to be featured no doubt.

lolly (lolly smits) said 7 months ago:

I agree; however, what would really clinch it for me is to see the sky lessened by at least half, to focus on the bridge and foreground. Otherwise, stunning! :~)))

Pi-Production (Eric Rousset) said 7 months ago:

Thanks lolly,it was my first idea but after...I've changed ;-))

Very nice composition. I like the sheen of reflective light all over the beach. The overall color seems a bit contrived (although it's not the only time I've seen unusual light before a storm) but that does not mean I don't like the photo. A bit less yellow would probably cater to my preferences (which, of course, is optional). Clarity is strong, not only in the clouds but also in the footprints on the beach. There is also an interesting contrast between the turgid clouds and the boy's relaxed pose. All in all, a very interesting image IMHO.

Le champion du HDR a encore frappé ce matin... ;-) Impressive as usual, I like it very much.

pete (Pete) said 7 months ago:

very dramatic shot! for it to be more relevant though, i would say more emphasis is needed on the road, and less on the sky

crahan (Thomas Bouve) said 7 months ago:

That's probably one of the most dramatic skies I've ever seen. Nice touch on the SOS sign too.
