Very nice. I like this one a lot. The girl looking down really makes the image, and tells a story which the viewer can interpret however they want. Good range of tones too.

forgingahead (Bob Foss) added a critique 1 year ago:

The way I rate this topic is to ask myself, "does this feel like a picture I might find in an old collection?" This shot has that feel to me. Many of the shots I run across while lookng through old albums are just like this. You ask yourself, "what was he taking a picture of?" That become part of the charm. So, I like this shot. Particularly for this topic!

Nice treatement, well done

jeninja-inja (Jenine Lindeque) said 1 year ago:

did you think of maybe adding a white border before processing. this might add to the vintage "grandpa pocket" look?

klimin_a_s (Andrew Klimin) said 1 year ago:

Jenine, thank you very much! White border will be very nice addition to this photo!

manickavelu (velu) added a critique 1 year ago:

nice perspective. what is it?

duncmc (Duncan McMillan) added a critique 1 year ago:

Nice textures, lighting and DoF. I would question the relevancy because for me the subject is the whole of the wood/metal/hook thing, even the bit that is out of the focal plane, so therefore it occupies most of the frame. Great image though.

Laurie (Laurie) added a critique 1 year ago:

The perspective is great...seems like it's upside down. The whole shot seems important so I don't know how minimalist it is.

inophoto (Jamie Adams) added a critique 1 year ago:

I agree with the comments above. For me it doesn't seem relevent - although it is a pleasant image.

Rock and roll... Where is this? (Must be in the U.S. somewhere.)

The atmosphere is what makes this photo. Love that depth. All the red lights and pedestrians are cool, too.

Flatline (Iron Flatline) said 1 year ago:

I shot this in Manhattan, looking down 5th Ave from around 32nd Street. That's the Flatiron Building you see entering the shot like a ship's bow from the left, at around 23rd Street. Oddly enough, this part of town is known these days as "the photography district" because so many studios are around here.

Pi-Production (Eric Rousset) said 1 year ago:

I took a pic around this place but not like u, good one !
