Very nice post processing for the background Eric. Like David, I would like a bit more vintage traitement on the statue's face ;)
SeekingFocus (Jason Langley) added a critique 1 year ago:
Love the processing and the floral designs on the edges. Maybe try using transparencies in the layers to make it blend in a bit better.

Many thanks for comments, really hepful ;)
mrsankey (Andrew Sankey) added a critique 1 year ago:
Like everyone else has said, the statue's head looks a bit out of place. A little vintage treatment to the face should fix that. You might even be able to just change the blending mode on that layer to make it fit in nicer. But the background and corners are fantastic, they look great.

I'd like to see the composition of the cup a little more to the right. The handle of the cup is too close to the left border for my taste.
Definitely a fun subject. What's this drink called?
SeekingFocus (Jason Langley) added a critique 1 year ago:
This is certainly strange. I'm not quite sure what to make of the scene presented to me in this photograph.
That said, technically it is good, with the exception of the blown out area to the right. Also, it seems like you might need a larger DOF to have the whole cup in focus. As it is, it seems the focus is toward the middle of the cup, while the rim (closest to the viewer) is out of focus.

Looks like this was taken with a point and shooot camera. I think you are trying too many things at the same time. I think you should give it some more tries to improve it.

kind of scary

To me at first glance what really is the focus? The colors don't mesh well. I would have used a clear glass without the word "coffee" and the water rings don't work either.

That frightens this picture! It is true that it looks like to be alive. The atmosphere is well "retranscribed" in your photo

Wow. This is really haunting. I had to really look at it to realize that it wasn't a real person!

Thank you, what are you understanding by "not perfect" ?
Pi-Production (Eric Rousset) said 1 year ago:
It's like vertical but it's my point of view that's OK ;)

Too much vignetting for me
pavankvn said 1 year ago:
Like the color processing. I'm guessing it is hue/tint ??
Pi-Production (Eric Rousset) said 1 year ago:
Yes, it's "cross-processing" and vignetting ;)

I don't care for the colorcast.
jeninja-inja (Jenine Lindeque) added a critique 1 year ago:
like the composition but the top lighting on his hair seems out of place for me, it makes his head seem unaturally long.
gembase (frederic Michiels) added a critique 1 year ago:
I agree with jeninja the lightning on top of the head is a bit disturbing. a part from that this is a godd pic.
Pi-Production (Eric Rousset) added a critique 1 year ago:
+1,and the framing as well, maybe I'm wrong ;)
Magdapeeta said 1 year ago:
Thanks for the critiques, I appreciate it. I see what you mean about the elongation of the head....Thanks
a bit too bright in the middle - but the corners are interesting. fine use of texture.
