I appreciate everyone's comments. This photo is intended to give a feeling of emptiness. However I understand how it has an unbalanced look.
Thanks again for taking the time to comment.

I am with you Simon, maybe we got the mirror image?
Sher (Sher Hilliard) added a critique 1 year ago:
I agree..to me the left side of the photo needs more...too much on the right. I would like the subject on the left looking way right... great idea though.

Very interesting photo. I like the man standing just in front of the train. Nice capture!

I love the light on the wall, the texture, and how nicely the Chaplin poster compliments the scene. The sink and cracked walls look as though they are right out of "The Tramp." I normally would not like how the white stripe goes right down the middle, but in this picture I think that it makes a nice side-by-side.
Pi-Production (Eric Rousset) added a critique 1 year ago:
Great composition Antoine, I like the attitude of Chaplin he's look like he's waiting somebody....
Nicely done !!
bokeh-junior (Ed Simons) added a critique 1 year ago:
I really like the way there a two sides to this picture. Chaplin's tramp adds to the sense of dereliction.
kamaki (Christophe) added a critique 1 year ago:
Chaplin seems to be frozen. The ambiance of the room is quite warm... For this contrast, I like this picture

Definitely one of the most interesting in Symmetry that I've seen. Great job!
JENRIKS (Jens & Erik) said 1 year ago:
Thank you all again! Symmetry is on of our most popular topics when taking photos and it lies so much beauty and peace in symmetric photos...

I actually think the post-processing employed in this image works very well; it really makes the most of the metallic material of the walls.

It fits the theme well. The cropping might be a little tight on the left.
Pi-Production (Eric Rousset) added a critique 1 year ago:
Nice colors.. But tell me something is-it broken @ the bottom ? If yes it's "Minimalism" (laugh)
Bon WE Sylvain ;)
aldamir (di Carlo Darsa sandro) added a critique 1 year ago:
I like colors.
But about compo it's a bit too much in the corner...just my opinion...
Dof seems good too :)
schupin (Sylvain chupin) said 1 year ago:
Thanks for commenting my picture.
And you're right Eric it's broken at the bottom (but it's not me !! I promise it was like this before ;))
And, for Aldamir : I agree that's too much on the corner, but I didn't know what to do with thius shot. In the original picture there's only le light centered and nothing else... It's not better

You caught the fragility of new life here, to say the least! I like the soft focus with the exception of the head.
byutanner (Jason Tanner) added a critique 1 year ago:
I really like it, but I agree I wish the closer bird's head was in focus.
Pi-Production (Eric Rousset) added a critique 1 year ago:
Did u take behind a window ? Because it's look dirty on the top of ur pic..
taikrixel (thomas mueller) said 1 year ago:
yes the szenerie was behind a window.

Good shot for this topic. The clouds & sky are great. I might have either cropped this on the right a bit or include the element on the left for a natural frame. But, I really get the solitude. Good Capture.
guffy (Stefan Karlstrom) added a critique 1 year ago:
Woah thats pretty sweet. Nice view, but I would like to see a little more colors. I also think the foreground is a little bit distracting, maybe frop off like 15-20% of the bottom, or re-frame it a little higher to include more sky. That would also make it nicer not having the horizon in the complete center.
Pi-Production (Eric Rousset) added a critique 1 year ago:
really nice shot, I like the textures and colors as well, good job ;)
iko (Olivier Petit) added a critique 1 year ago:
Exceptional shot. Everything is clear and the colors are fantastic. The clouds in the sky add to the perspective too.

Thanks so much - I call it Bob Thomas White merely for the one of the few looking in the direction of the camera; you can barely make the name out on the sign. Thanks for any comments!!!
jbloch75 (Jeff Bloch) added a critique 1 year ago:
Great contrast. It's easy to get movement from a place that's always moving... so I like the blur from the moving subjects. What makes this shot great is within the movement is the man with the name sign. You couldn't have planned it better. I love this shot.
aldamir (di Carlo Darsa sandro) added a critique 1 year ago:
I focused only on the 'white man'...
Maybe if it moved more and only him, alone, staying here, it could be even better :)
Realy good contrast and b&w.

I like the range of tones in this picture. It could be brightened a little bit, but I personally like the dark mountains.

Classical but nice reflection. great landscape. Maybe in color....
Pi-Production (Eric Rousset) added a critique 1 year ago:
Perfect reflections, maybe in colors it will work better no ?
bbonner (Bonner Photographic) said 1 year ago:
I have posted the color version of this image. I hope you appreciate the time it took me to handcolor it. j/k I appreciate your comments - I have always loved this image. My whole trip to Alberta was hazy and rainy - which I was able to make BW images much more effectively. In color the images just lack a bit of punch.
willie_901 (william) added a critique 1 year ago:
This image has classic tonality and composure. This is all about form. Color would just detract.
Is it me or is everyone confusing their rights and lefts?
