Great lighting Paul. Well done. I like how he is standing on teh edge of the frame.

I know the theme is BLACKground, but you need balance, and imho there is just a little too much black. Without enough definition on the statue, I find it a little flawed. The concept scores high marks, though.

I take some of what I said back, Paul. I sat and stared at it for a while just now, and I actually like it much more than my initial reaction showed. My words were hastily chosen. Please forgive me!

The light on the statue is great, but I wonder if another cut, perhaps a quadratic, would be stronger, but it is a great photo

Personally, I really like this - For my taste, that light/shadow is perfect!

I would have made another crop... maybe the statue on one side of the image, and a bit less black above it :) But the lighting is really good!

I like this but somehow I think there should be a little bit more light on the face? The shadow is kinda blocking out the face so you can't see much details there.

But it's a great effort nonetheless.
