Nice capture Paul - love the colors and the mood of the photo!

The sepia tint does lend itself to the theme emphasizing the derelict nature of the structure. The basically low-key approach also adds to this sense of abandonment.
This is just a thought: I wonder if the left part with the tree top and the side of the structure in darkness could be cropped off for a better composition further emphasizing the subject? As the guidelines below says, it's always subjective.

Thanks for your comment-i did try crop out the tree, but took out half the picture-i wish i had taken a few more shots of this :)

The thought had occurred to me too - hence the tentative note. I think it's only about a quarter of the width - an almost square format is worth experimenting with, seeing it's still being used by the die-hard professionals on the medium format cameras.
BTW fine work and it's exciting to mix travel with photographic art!

I think I miss the rest of the building.
The lower half.
Maybe a more wide angle.

The sepia really adds to the impact of this image. I too would like to see more of the building but what you did get of it is very good:)

That's great. Good processing. I almost wish it had some noise but you took a good picture:)
