Nice framing but the quality is not so good as u can see (ex.the sky),anyway still good picture ;)

looks more like a painting than a picture (ie right hand bottom corner). but the composition is nice.

is that the petronas towers ?

Paulforrester (Paul Forrester) said 1 year ago:

yes it is-it is a photo-it is taken from the KL tower through glass-which has led to a lower quality

great shot paul....good work as usual!

caryscott (Cary Scott) added a critique 1 year ago:

Great framing but like what's already been said, the picture quality is lacking via sharpness, color, and grain.

jeninja-inja (Jenine Lindeque) added a critique 1 year ago:

great composition paul! love the three layers of mountains before you reach the sky!

philippe (Philippe Reichert) added a critique 1 year ago:

The subject (where is this building? Shanghai?), light and composition are nice but, as it was mentioned before, the picture is a bit soft, and the sky is really noisy. What camera did you use? Have you tried a gaussian blur filter or noise ninja, then sharpen through lab color?

philippe (Philippe Reichert) added a critique 1 year ago:

From your profile, I guess it must be Seoul?

Paulforrester (Paul Forrester) said 1 year ago:

Hi Phillipe, these impressive structures are the Petronas towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malayasia. I took the shot through glass and it had started raining. I am not sure what i can do about the noise in the sky. I will try the gaussian blur filter and sharpening in Lab Colour-thanks for the tip. The camera used-Cannon 400D.

Cheers!

You can also use a tool like Noise Ninja.
