I echo what paul says above. The fact the bike is in the middle of the steps lends itself to symmety. A few steps to the right would have made a more balanced (and in my opinion better) image.

Though technically well executed, I don't really see what this picture is about. just a bicycle parked at the bottom of some steps.....

It's good. I think it would be better if you would have zoomed in on the bike a little.

Try improving the composition by cropping the upper part of the image as to leave just the stairs.
Try leaving just the middle part of the stairs.
