Shoot..in my defense I loved the photo so much, I forgot to add my "constructive critism." I love it. I wouldn't change a thing.

thanks Sher, it was my window in malaysia-it was a nice window to have!
Pi-Production (Eric Rousset) added a critique 1 year ago:
I like the view Paul but not the black left part...

One element of this shot that I really like is the different way the light passes through the glass on the window itself, creating a step-like effect. It might be nice to have closed the window a little bit more to accentute that effect.

lovely shot, though the framing is just a bit off. I wish I could see more of the left side (instead of a solid black line). With just a little more context on that side of the image, this could be really great!

I agree with Piproduction about the black left par of the frame.
Sher (Sher Hilliard) added a critique 1 year ago:
I see nothing wrong with the "black left frame." As this category is "Through My Window" I think it quite appropriate to have both the left edge of the window and the glass.
bokeh-junior (Ed Simons) added a critique 1 year ago:
I don't think the black frame detracts from the image, it increases the sense of being indoors and looking out.
My main criticism is that the horizon is a bit wonky, and I think the left island should have some sea to the left.
I like it and wish I was on holiday again.
guffy (Stefan Karlstrom) added a critique 1 year ago:
The black towards the left is needed. However, I also think that the horizon is a bit "wonky" and should be corrected as it is very distracting.

Sea is not right :( This is a minimum in a "sea photography". Composition is perfect to me, I like it a lot.

I love this. I love that the window is blurry and i like the color of the window too!
