I'm assuming this is a reflection in water? If so, that fact isn't 100% clear to me... If there are water ripples, they're mostly serving to push the image out of focus, which some might consider a distraction rather than an enhancement.

I really do think this image has a lot of potential, though. (I personally enjoy this kind of blur.) If it were up to me I'd go b/w with it... keep the dark tones... and pop the contrast a little. Here's what my eyes see:

For what it's worth, just my own interpretation.

thanks Brandon-first for a kick ass site and second for the suggestion-it looks great in black! i think i will change most photos into black and white first to see if it looks better!

I do agree with Brandon, his version is worth exploring. However, it's still not really clear that it's a reflection, it looks to me more like there are lights in the background which are out of focus because of a wide-open tele lens.

Cool shot, well seen!

I agree on the choice to try black and white. That really makes it pop.

There doesn't seem to be any real focal point here to hold the interest very long. It's a nice shot of reflections, just nothing that will make you dig deeper into its meaning... if that makes sense.
