i too think the background color really sells this photo. the tone of green is quite appealing.

I think this really works well. The verticals and horizontals balance nicely. Good progression of focus from the front, to the rear clothespin, to the background.

I love the background colour, though for me, the focus of the picture (the middle peg) isn't strong enough. Maybe swapping it with either of the other two would give a more "appealing" look.
