Oh this is just wonderful. I love the warm colors and how it goes from a yellow down to a dark orange.

really love the calm look here..wish that glass were over a bit, but it's really a lovely, warm face.

Strange, but true - these trees/shrubs grow horizontally out from the rockface. If you look closely, you can see that the birds are in the right position.

Cool! I would have thought this was sideways too probably. Though I have seen small trees growing out the side of rocks like this in the mountains. The lack of other reference points to indicate which direction is up, gives a weird sensation.

Noticing the tiny birds is quite helpful in understanding the orientation. (Thanks for pointing them out, Nynke.) Interesting photo to say the least!

Boy if there was ever a good reason for letting the photographer explain and image, this is it! I think I would like to see more detail on the cliff face, but it sure is a unique image.
