I like very much the contrast beetwen the black and grey.

The overall picture looks to me a little too empty.

I love the composition of this image

the only thing I might do differently would be to burn the tree trunk and branches in slightly. Though without seeing it, it's hard to say if it would help or hurt your image.

The tree is very interesting. It seem o be as delicate as a feather. The exposure is perfect.

This was my first tried attempt at Minimalism. My goal was to capture the beauty of the damaging ice with the cold, damp, foggy feeling of the storm. When I look at the picture it reminds me of how chilled I was when composing the shot. Hopefully all of these aspects come across to the viewer.

- Jessa; I didn't change the photo much with exception to some sharpening and minor level changes. I tried increasing the contrast to bring out the tree limbs and trunk more, but it took away from the fog which drew in on the tree. For me it also took away from the scene by drawing your eye to the tree trunk and less on the ice and storm.

I love it. The simplicity of it makes it beautiful. Almost has a negative image feel to it. Seen many ice storms up close and personal and this makes a beautiful photo.

Prime I thought it was a negative because of the contrast between the sky the main branchs and the thin branchs I was wrong.
So I like the usage of negative space that increase the minimalisme of this picture
