I was actually standing on a small pedestrian bridge that goes over the river. It was quite fortunate that the snow also helped to hide the highway overpass which you can barely see in the back.

lovely picture - frosty white winter scenes are always a favourite of mine. I do wonder however how the photo would look if the blacks were punchier and the whites "whiter"...? Mind you, having said that, my monitor is not color corrected.

I have seen a scene like this so many times, but I've never been able to capture quite so well. Great shot!!!

I've been wanting to ask... What is this? Heh.
It looks like you were really close to it when you took the photo, but you have no reflection... so I'm confused. (I enjoy being confused... that's a compliment.)
Nantel (Andre Nantel) said 1 year ago:
This was taken at the Moma in NYC. You probably don't see my reflection because the sirface is concave and the bottles were behind a reflective glass.

What type of plane is this?
Thought it was a Blackbird at first.
I like the contrast between the highest technology and the leaky roof stained ceiling tiles.
