looks cold and wet!! Touch too dark for me personally but it may ahve been what you were going for.

I like the dark and wet look as well. Very gloomy. It could have a little bit more contrast (for example, the grass could be a little bit lighter).

Brooding comes to mind. I like the darkness as well; the shadowing reminds me of the last light from the sun - almost a soft spotlight effect from above - just before the chaos of an unexpected storm hits.
The abrupt formations in the background almost look as if a monster is emerging from the valley.

A nice landscape, but not sure it show much about Rural "life". As a landscape it is a little underexposed, overall. I would like to see it with another pass thur curves...? Trying to give it just a bit more "punch" especially in the foreground.
