Some type of hawk?

Wing spread is fantastic, where did you capture this at?
MomentsinTime (Pete Brennan) said 1 year ago:
Thanks guys! This is a hawk and it was shot at the beach here in Southern California!
Beamer (Clyde Beamer) said 1 year ago:
Pete, where do you live, I live in Claremont, CA. What beach did you shoot this at? We have some hawks up around our area and I have been very frustrated trying to get a shot of one.

the best thing is how the skin crinkles at the upper part of his nose. congrats.

Great job achieving that sharpness in the eye!
I also like the crop. the only thing bothering me are those hairs on his forehead. I'd say clone them out.
Felicitari pentru o imagine reusita!

The unclean nails are an important element of the composition of the photo, in my opinion :) They capture the look of who's watching the photo and add an 'iornic' element on this

Sher, you are correct! It's the end of a tube the kids use in the pool!

i agree with lbstone that the trees look confined. The color are interesting and i like the simplicity of the photo.

I actually like the hill in this image, but maybe the picture would fit better in a "Silhouette" theme...
