Love it too, beautiful perspective and light, chapeau pour la maitrise de l'expo.

Very nice picture !!!

As a thumbnail, it shows great movement and the resultant design because of the yellow lights. love it. :~)))

juanantonio (J.A. Pellicer) said 1 year ago:

Saludos, se me olvidaba.

MMeye (Martine) said 1 year ago:

Pixim (Eric) said 1 year ago:

It seems to blurry to me, higher shutter speed would have given it sharpness.

dcrphotography (Daniel) added a critique 1 year ago:

Nice capture for the topic. I am not a fan of the selective color!

mrsankey (Andrew Sankey) added a critique 1 year ago:

This seems a little blurry to me, and I don't think the selective coloring adds anything to the picture. But it seems to fit the topic nicely.

beckn32 (Kim Norton) added a critique 1 year ago:

The blurred background gives this skater a good sense of movement and I like that affect in for this topic. Though I don't like the selective coloring, I believe it takes away too much. Also, instead of a portrait crop, a landscape crop with more space in front of the skater would give the picture even more forward motion.

MatthNice (Matthias Delouche) added a critique 1 year ago:

Well done. I'm not a fan of selective color either but the caracter would have certainly been a bit lost in the background. Nice photo

Following the council of MMeye, I allow myself to give this photograph. I have thus cropper the original in order to observe the rule of the thirds and thus to highlight my principal subject, the wavelet. A different chromy was tried. With the next one.

lolly (lolly smits) said 1 year ago:

Very nice, eric! Please, my ignorance needs to be edified, but, what does 'with the next one' mean?; you use it frequently! Thanks. :~))

MMeye (Martine) said 1 year ago:

Yes, I prefer this framing ;-) You might be told that the blurred zone in the foreground is too large, but this is not a disturbing point for me.

@lolly : I also noticed "with the next one" from Eric, and I think it is just a bad translation from one of those automatic translators you find on the web. I believe Eric just wanted to say something like : 'See you soon', or 'so long'. ;-)

Pixim (Eric) said 1 year ago:

Thank you for your comments.
Yes, MMeye rightly
“With the next one” --> At the next photo or See you soon on Vazaar.
So, See you soon on Vazaar.

MatthNice (Matthias Delouche) said 1 year ago:

With the next one.

I love the stones with the waves crashing in the background. I almost would like to see this horizontally, though. Beautiful capture!

MatthNice (Matthias Delouche) said 1 year ago:

Bisous Pumba

Beautiful photo...I too love the working hands aspect of this photo.

effraie said 1 year ago:

@MMeye, who say the DOF is a bit short: that's right, my flash was out of battery, so i had to work with only available light, & i wanted to keep 400 ISO max, too keep low noise. 1/30 et f/4.5 was the best compromise i found, but was not perfect, for sure

xtralution (Tony Rose) added a critique 1 year ago:

the photos of hands is very intimate. love it!

dreamer247 (Ben Godkin) added a critique 1 year ago:

wonderful textures. This image has a sensual and delicate mood. I love it.

MatthNice (Matthias Delouche) added a critique 1 year ago:

Very beautiful picture, incredible light, nice movement, exposure nicely handled. DOF a bit short: but you already explained. The color chosen fits well to the clay.

Félicitations!
