This photograph has just been realized. I was on Vazaar, when a peace march passed in bottom of my home. It is simply the end of procession closed by the French police force. Stops was done regularly. Excuse me for my English. Greetings.
MatthNice (Matthias Delouche) said 7 months ago:
They were just following pacifist march of soccer fanaticts.

Thank you for your opinions, I try to develop with Capture Nx (Nikon) and to use the U-points, I have progress to make (indeed, the halo is too visible)
Greetings.
jasonkravitz (Jason Kravitz) added a critique 1 year ago:
great colors and composition. To avoid the halo, you may be able to create two layers and carefully paint one on top of the other. A bit of an an intensive process but a good way to get rid of noticeable halo.
lightholder (Kimberly Lightholder) added a critique 1 year ago:
Beautiful shot! My only thought is I wonder if cropping the top and bottom into more of panorama might help the impact? But it's only MHO. LOVE the colours. Where was that taken?
Pixim (Eric) said 1 year ago:
This shot was taken in Paris, they are "les invalides". Thank you for your comments and your councils.

A well-known buidling but placed in another view (always nice to see that), you did a wonderful job ! The weather helped you in a nice way:-))

Thank you for this paralellism. Sander's docu-portrait "technology" is timeless, - his a role model for me.

very nice work. Great technicals. I would have stopped down to about f/45 with a medium format. But this is your picture not mine.

There is not much I don't like about this image...the tones are intriguing and the way the flowers seem to be floating lend to an awesome capture!
Pixim (Eric) said 11 months ago:
Thank you Rachel to have expressed this criticism sympathetic on this photograph :)

Pixim (Eric) said 1 year ago:
@Did: Ce cadrage pour éliminer une boucle d'oreille, et garder de la hauteur. Un cadrage original se trouve ici eric.lacquemant.free.fr/pixelpost/index.php?showim...
Merci pour les commentaires

Salut Pumb, excellente ta photo, le point de vue, les couleurs,...
On aurait peut être dû retourner la barrière qui bloque la porte !
Le top c'est que j'ai la photo de toi en train de prendre cette photo !!
A bientôt mon Pumba.
philippe (Philippe Reichert) said 11 months ago:
Belle trouvaille. Et le cadrage est top.
Pixim (Eric) said 11 months ago:
Merci Philippe, c'est l'ancienne gare de Nice qui va disparaitre. Avec mon beau-frère, nous sommes passés au-dessus des palissades afin de prendre quelques dernières images de ce lieu.
A bientôt.

Thank you all for the critiques. Yes, this shot was a big luck !
Pixim said the water is too "hard". I had a critique on another site saying the water was too "soft", that's why i made it harder !!! I really prefer like that.
Thanks again !

So, who lost their footing first?! This is a competition winner if ever I saw one. Another fave.
If I had any complaints, it would be the blown highlights in the water.

Who could ever beat that shot? 4 of them?
Just great capture.

A bientôt.

Merci pour le conseil ! Elle y est.
A demain (ou ce soir)
Very cool capture to go along with the topic. My question is, what can't you see they they are getting ready to stop?
