Wonderful color and indeed pity about the curved horizon.
bradford (Bradford Levine) added a critique 3 months ago:
Beautiful color and light - just straighten the horizon and this would be a winner

hey,thanks for all the comments,
i tried correcting the distortion but it didnt really work out,i think i need to read up some more and give it another shot..!

Beautiful color

Colors very nice. I was thinking you used a fish eye lens, so in that case no need to make it straight (actually I like it like that). Nice image but not super because it missing a main subject.

Wow, Jon. I agree with Clyde regarding the tones, focus and dof. You have exposed this subject beautifully to capture the delicate light on the petals without losing the shades in the background. Perhaps square would make the composition slightly stronger, but it is very nice as is.
jvgphoto (jon van gilder) said 3 months ago:
Thanks for the suggestion - don't know why I didn't consider this one for a square crop - excellent idea, however!
Cheers,
Jon

On my screen, flowers looks slightlu purple... is it the real color? Personnaly, I would try to make it white, and why not B&W.
JeffCleveland (Jeff Cleveland) added a critique 3 months ago:
The background lends beautiful contrast to the flowers and I think your depth of field was spot on. A beautiful shot.
Mardynn (Martin Tomaszczyk) added a critique 3 months ago:

Jorge,
Clyde is exactly right - what were you trying to say here? Think about the point of each shot.

I think this image could have been cropped a little better. Other than that I think its great.

Nice scene and details but indeed, the man and the tractor could have some more space between...

WOW!
Excellent shot.
Great POV that really lends itself to this angle.
I really like the inclusion of the sky and the cloud in the corner!
I also like the reflections that are seen all the way down the rails!

Thanks everyone for the comments. This photo was a lot of fun to make, except for the crick in my neck. ;P

@Jeff: I always tend to lose my balance when trying to capture these types of scenes. Annoys the hell out of me to be honest. I really need to learn to keep my balance :D

Very nice shot. There is just something about the mouth that makes my eye want to go there. Perhaps making the mouth a little darker?

Absolutley beautiful shot. The vibrant colors and clarity make this a pleasure to look at. Very nicely done.

Great shoot love the shapness off the beak
color vibrant, texture
just wish eyes was sharper, maybe a sligth adjustement of unsharp mask around the eyes could have help.
but in definitive a great take.

great shot and great symmetry
I'm pretty sure this image is straight, it may not feel like it and I understand that may be more important. The spirit levels on my tripod head were level and straight. The houses have straight verticals and the bit of brighter beach that you can see near the left edge of the shot is straight. I will check the hi-res again tonight. Thanks all for the comments.
