Very nicely done...the colors and silhouette are perfect

One tiny criticism. I think the red frame is unecessary, in an otherwise wonderful sunset image. I'm curious...is this really by the seaside?
chefron (Ron Ernst) said 1 year ago:
You are not the first to bring up my frames, maybe it's time to dump them. Yes this was shot on Tybee Island Georgia.
jcof (Juan Carlos Ordóñez) added a critique 1 year ago:
The dynamism, the tone and the degradation of color are specially beautiful,
congratulations.

Thank you all for your feed back. As far as the surface appearing brush-finished, well that was what I was going for..LOL I just liked the way it looked. I tried it several different ways and this was just my favorite. Thank you so much CodeRed for all of your great suggestions on my photos.

je crois que j'aurais fait interagir les pieds pour un photo humoristique puisque techniquement c'est bon

Wonderfully done.
I like the artistic idea that you have conveyed.
Side note: man that right foot has one heck of an arch compared to the left!
Jenseye (Jen) added a critique 1 year ago:
I really like this...amusing and the texture is fantastic.
TerynYancey (Teryn Yancey) added a critique 1 year ago:

I love this photo, what an entrance. Would like to see in B&W, but this tone is good to. good job
augusto (Augusto González) added a critique 1 year ago:
Buena fotografia, has tomado muy bien la soledad de la novia, el color podría ser un poco mas intenso o en blanco y negro con algo mas de contraste.
diezel99 added a critique 1 year ago:
I agree with the above comments on B&W and think it could stand to have the complete arch in the picture, which of course would make it eligible for the arches topic.

wonderful composition...I have to say I would love to see the bride and the door cropped...more detail on her and the door. Just me.

This downsampled .jpeg doesn't really show how crisp the focus is on her face, and it appears a bit too dark. Maybe I'll adjust slightly and repost. What say you? Thanks in advance.
Jenseye (Jen) said 1 year ago:
I really like the image...seems sharp to me, her eyes are truly beautiful. Very nice.

Excellente photo with the perfect black background. Congratulations. If the focus get the eyes was even better.

Either I've been away from your photoblog too long or I missed this.

Neat Jen!
Is that a real white squirrel?
That is too cool.
Jenseye (Jen) said 1 year ago:
Yes it is. From what I could find on the internet this is a non-albino white squirrel. It likes to visit my backyard from time to time and I was lucky to capture it one afternoon. Thanks for the comment!

love the green eyes. maybe this is my computer, but i wish the color in the wall and carpet was a little less grainy.
Topher (Christopher Mueller) added a critique 1 year ago:
The eyes are so amazing that I'd crop in and fill the frame with the head and eyes. would love to see that version if you want to try it out.
Jenseye (Jen) said 1 year ago:
Thank you very much for your comments.
Topher...I will have to try the crop, just wondering if I crop to close it may end up very grainy.
cutebutstupid (Amy Baxter) added a critique 1 year ago:
Jen!! This is such a great shot! Those eyes are intense. I agree about the cropping, tho'. I'd crop more so in on the head with a wee bit of carpet in the foreground to give it the scale for that scowl. Love this puddy tat!!
dcannaday added a critique 1 year ago:
What beautiful eyes you have.. LOL I love this picture, but I agree on cropping out some of the carpet and getting a closer look at the face.

Lovely lighting and long shadows. Nicely exposed though a bit blown out in a couple of places. I feel like I'm being drawn into the light. :-) Over all beautiful photograph.
