Very impressive.
Having been through a few house fires, this really bring back the tragedy, the loss, the emotional turmoil that was, a house fire.

Ana (Ana Cortez) said 4 months ago:

thank you for the comment.
Must be really tough to go through a real fire like this.

Afoklala (Jan Willem van Dormolen) said 9 days ago:

Great colorization, just the fire and the BW. Almost makes you forget there's a tragedy going on here.
BTW, fire is cool??? :-)

Nice shot with this dust !

apsk121 (Angad Kingra) added a critique 5 months ago:

Very nice, the early morning fog/haze thing really works in this shot.

HuubL said 5 months ago:

Not sure if I did something wrong, but I added this photo to a second Topic and now it is back on top of the queue...
Please let me know if this is allowed, otherwise I'll delete it from the "Fog" topic.

Thea (CA Taylor) added a critique 3 months ago:

The haze, the cart, and the uneven road all work to give you an idea of what traveling here must be like, the photo works well just as it is.

BAZIQfemine (Fia Baziq) added a critique 1 month ago:

Background has a bit of a fairytale-feeling to it, like a painting. And I like this new meets old. A bit tilted but other than that, Brilliant!!

Wow, a great, great one.
Tiny detail : the white spot on the right might have been darkened in post processing.

Anyway, congratulations Vincenzo.

I like it a lot but I would love to see the shot without the human legs because it would add more depth to the image of the dog.

ErikUnger (Erik Unger) added a critique 5 months ago:

I am not a fan of the legs either. the dog is great though. I'd say either crop out the legs or see if you can do a good job of cloning them out.

JLM (Joel Le Montagner) said 5 months ago:

Thanks. I keep the legs :-))

stilfoto (Stefan Nielsen) added a critique 4 months ago:

Don't you dare clone out the legs - without them this would be just another snapshot. The legs (and the shadow from the legs) ae what makes this interesting and makes the viewer curious.

JLM (Joel Le Montagner) said 4 months ago:

Thanks a lot Stefan !

Very original idea for this category. Very moving and wonderful photo. This capture inspires in me a desire to give more than I am giving to our global community. Well done, my friend.

Best to you and yours,
Jon

Sad...heartbreaking...

boyd added a critique 5 months ago:

I would have been tempted to convert this to b&w, but I am glad you have presented as is because it is a very strong image. I agree with the above comments and commend you on a very sensitive treatment of the subject (I particularly like the engagement with the subject's eyes). Bravo!

What is the subject ??

Beamer (Clyde Beamer) added a critique 5 months ago:

People walking in the rain, I believe...

I like this a lot, has a great street, real life feel to it!! I might have included more at the bottom to see more of those great reflections that you only get a hint of now.
