Eric - not sure if this is what you mean by 'the context of your catch of sight'? But basically, I just wandered around beneath this roller coaster (The Corkscrew at Australia's Sea World) looking for the widest span of track that I could find without any support columns or other background intrusions.

Colours and tones are excellent Heath, lovely use of shadows!
