Love the sharpness, and the formation of the lighting. Gorgeous capture!
photoquarium (Lucus Crawford) said 11 months ago:
I like how the lightning is going through the small cloud near the bottom.
I guess it good to be lucky when capturing shots like this ;)
Out of curousity what kind of post processing did you do on this.

If this was a nude it would work even better...
anke-art (Anke Arnold) added a critique 1 year ago:
I like it, it's funny. My only criticism: You cut off her fingers in the lower right corner ;)
Flip (Philip) added a critique 1 year ago:
Very fun and creative. I like it.
photofixation added a critique 1 year ago:
creative indeed .. a more vibrant colors would have been more appreciated.

les silhouettes embellissent un coucher de soleil sans cela rebattu
lightholder (Kimberly Lightholder) added a critique 1 year ago:
Perfect. Particularly how one subject is looking and another is looking forward, seems to add much more impact to the composition.
TerynYancey (Teryn Yancey) added a critique 1 year ago:
The silhouettes stand out amazingly against the sun and ocean. very beautiful. very well done

Yes, agree w/ Ben. Maybe just a little lower and to the right a bit and you could see both eyes a little better.
andreas (Andréas Saudemont) added a critique 1 year ago:
I would also consider shooting at the girl's eye level rather than going for low angle.
Flip (Philip) said 1 year ago:
Thanks for your comments. I was actually taking a picture of someone to the girl's left when she walked up to the door. I wish I could have taken a couple more from different perspectives.
Lindy (Lindy G) added a critique 1 year ago:
I like this even with the angle it is at .. there is so much character to this photo and love the texture of the gate but the little girl is captivating, makes you wonder what caught her attention..
Flip (Philip) said 1 year ago:
Thanks Lindy. I shot several other photos of this girl over the course of a couple days, and she brought the same intrigue to every one.

uffffffff, great DOF, perspective, light and crop, I love this shot, but I would like even more if the rear hand was showed, but don't mind it's still so great.
Congratulations
chromadreams (David) said 1 year ago:
I almost can here the music.
Flip (Philip) said 1 year ago:
Thanks Dave. Yeah, I have some others from this shoot where I think the right hand is showing more. I'll have to look.
Beamer (Clyde Beamer) said 1 year ago:
Agree bout the framing. I sorta wish the DoF was just a little deeper, the falloff of focus being a little more gradual along the neck...
Flip (Philip) said 1 year ago:
Thanks for the feedback Clyde. I'm still figuring things out, so your opinion is greatly appreciated.

like msdedi + colours
Ben (Downing) said 1 year ago:
thank-you... I think texture was what made me take the image but the symbolism is what makes me like it.
Flip (Philip) said 1 year ago:
I think this is my favorite pic you have on Vazaar. I love that it says made in the U.S.A. on it.
