très beau camaïeu de bleus et gris-bleu. la format carré ne m'a pas convaincu non plus. je ne suis pas vraiment un adepte du vignettage. qu'apporte t il à ce cadrage?

Thank you for your critique. You certainly right about the square format. I've made this choice because on the original shot (here it's a crop), the hull was visible. I'm agree with the idea of a panorama-view. I'll do better for the next board trip. I was too frightening to get soaked (especially affraid to get my nikon wet). :o
I'm using a Nikon D90 + Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 :)

Great picture! I'm personally not a fan of the vignette, but that's just me.

Lovely. I love lomo. The blue tones totally "pop" in this picture. This is one of the best uses of square format + lomo I've ever seen.

Awsom colors!! I like the different tones of blue in the sky, water and at the roofs of the buildings. The vignet-effect makes the already natural effect of colors who are always fading from the horizon to the edge of the picture, even stronger.
However, I don't think the square format is suiteble to the subject, call me old fashioned but imho a scene like this needs more horizontal space, maybe even a panorama-view. Is it a crop a real square format? I'm just curious, what kind of lens did you use?
