What a gorgeous dog! I love the blur on the background, really brings the focus on the face which is a little out of focus. Perhaps next time increase the ISO or use a flash? I think you have captured the dog's personality well :)

To focus is more on is feet than eyes,
composition is good, and the model was in a very good mood, my constructive critic would be to use a center focus mode with your dslr and please ask your model to do it again could be great

I like how the right hand side is somewhat blurred until you see the subject (yourself).

Denise, I really like this shot, other than the fact that the bridge is a bit crooked. I probably wouldn't have noticed, but the light posts are also crooked, which draws more attention to the crooked bridge. I also think you should have more of the bridge, and less of the foliage.

the foliage is an error on this pic I think, and you should use a little less exposure, I think that there is so much light in this shot

There is a chance for this to be an excellent shot.
If the foliage on the right had a little more color detail it would be awesome.
Currently it looks like you tried to frame it with that but there is almost no detail.
Also the crooked bridge/light posts are pretty distracting.
Great attempt and hope to see some more in the future!
