Thank you for your comments! I had a print of this made and this lady I know saw it and loved it so much that I gave it to her. I'll have to go have another print made now. :-)

sfkp (Tamara) said 7 months ago:

Very stunning, indeed.

It almost looks like x-ray art: www.xray-art.com

TammyLynn (Tammy) said 7 months ago:

Thank you sfkp. I took this out in my garden, with the sun shinning through the flower. :-)

grahambo (Graham Siebe) added a critique 1 year ago:

I really like this too.

On a technical note, I wish the top of the rail wasn't quite blown out, but it doesn't detract much because the photo isn't about the detail.

I also wonder how this would look in b&w.

Did (Did) added a critique 1 year ago:

I love the perspective and the colors too. This is a great picture.
I only regret the rail is not starting in the bottom right corner and I wonder why there is vignettting on the left but not on the right.

MMeye added a critique 1 year ago:

Wow... Nice shot and very good pp. It's dreamful, excellent !

Just a point : the horizon line is a bit tilting (0,90°). I surely don't want to bother you with this in such a good pic, but I suspect I have a 'level tool' (sorry I don't know the exact word) in my eyes and this is often the first default I see in a picture ;-)

nrcowlishaw (Nathan Cowlishaw) said 1 year ago:

MMeye, The landscape and horizon are not flat themselves...

This one is GREAT!! Love it. An awing seen thur window blinds, my guess.

Pixim (Eric) said 1 year ago:

Thanks for being to you to stop on this photograph. It is a Venetian blind since my kitchen, in bottom one sees the blind of the balcony. In Nice, we have a pleasant and often sunny climate.

lolly (lolly smits) said 1 year ago:

Excellently seen. love it.

Did (Did) said 1 year ago:

Whaowww... Very good eye and excellent composition. I love this kind of graphical photo. The colors, the tilt and the depht of field are very good.

Did (Did) said 1 year ago:

Excellent portrait, je m'interroge sur ce recadrage très étriqué, le regard vient butter contre le bord.
Pourquoi ce choix ?

Pixim (Eric) said 1 year ago:

@Did: Ce cadrage pour éliminer une boucle d'oreille, et garder de la hauteur. Un cadrage original se trouve ici eric.lacquemant.free.fr/pixelpost/index.php?showim...
Merci pour les commentaires

LadyWings (Kara Brothers) added a critique 1 year ago:

Nice colors, texture and PoV. Not sure if it's birds flying or what, but there's something in the left side of the sky, that's very distracting. I'd also like to see a bit more color in the trees, as they appear gray to me.

mosesport (Moses) added a critique 1 year ago:

I love wide angle shots! This one particularly makes me happy. :)

.moses.

Did (Did) added a critique 1 year ago:

I like the perspective and the very saturated colors. The sky is too dark for me (almost black), did you use a circular polariser ?
The black spots are disturbing me indeed, did you removed something here ?

RoossooR (sebastien Rousseau) added a critique 1 year ago:

good potential shoot, all the element are here, but the quality of the picture are not really good and we can see some photoshop touch up.

Ana (Ana Cortez) added a critique 11 months ago:

Did you add this sky? I think the building is a fantastic subject and I'd love to see more.
It seems the perspective is a bit strange, and the sky is spotted and distorted.

Pixim (Eric) said 1 year ago:

I like this portrait which leaves the ordinary one. I appreciate also your controlled lighting, your B&W has strong character. Greetings.

Did (Did) said 1 year ago:

Perfect! I don't find another word :-)

TammyLynn (Tammy) said 1 year ago:

Pixim and Did, thank you for you comments. :-) I did a print of this but with the eye blue. When I get more time I want to try more shots like this. A lot of this is photoshop, I'd like to try and do this with no help from photoshop, strait from the camera. If anyone has any advice I'd be most grateful! :-D

koo88 said 1 year ago:

You share my sentiments in terms of not using photoshop with the pictures. In my opinion, too many shots are doctured which takes away from the real capture. I enjoy the shot.

juanantonio (J.A. Pellicer) said 1 year ago:

Me parece muy dificil conseguir en fotografia un azul cobalto como en este caso, por ello mis felicitaciones.

Pixim (Eric) said 1 year ago:

Gracias Juanantonio para tus felicitaciones. Esta luz es real, por otra parte he tenido que retirar toda saturación, toda vibración. Esta luz procede de neónes colocados bajo un puente, ayer por la mañana, entre dos lluvias, aprovechó de la ocasión para hacer esta imagen. Saludos.

Did (Did) said 1 year ago:

Great picture Pixim, I like it very much. The idea, the composition, the colors. I only regret some little white dots.

Eye_See said 1 year ago:

Another great photo Pixim.

I'm waiting to see your water drops pictures.

lolly (lolly smits) said 1 year ago:

Interestingly, looking at the thumbnail I thought it was something different; however, this has turned out to be just as interesting. I like it! :~))
