Very nice pic. I'm not too fond of the framing, though.
Damo (Damo) said 9 months ago:
Thanks Philippe, I think the frame makes the picture in my opinion, without it it doesnt look half the picture, a bit like a mount. Thanks for your comments though :)

Lets see - small, very cute, furry, shiny black eyes. Looks a-ok to me. He / she definetly has star appeal.

Thanks guys, her name is Holly, and she is a bit of a poser ! :o) The photo was taken on my bed, as she was sitting on her log, I was ready with the camera, and when she stood up like that I quickly took the shot. Oh it was taken with a EOS 300D with the kit lens (18-55.

Beautiful shot Damo, I love the colours in the reflection of the water. Nice lighting and I like the dof as well.

Hi Guys, this is officially my first uploaded pic :o), his name is Nanook, he is 7 weeks old, and I took the pic with a Canon EOS 400D with a 70-200 L F/4 lens.
TammyLynn (Tammy) said 1 year ago:
Oh very nice composition. The light and dof is great, though I would have liked more light in the eyes, particularly the one on the right. Beautiful shot and beautiful puppy. This is a great portrait.
Ladybug (Lisa Ruokis) said 1 year ago:
Nanook is beautiful! Lovely shot, although it is a bit dark.
marcouet52 (Mario Arcouette) said 1 year ago:
Sharp picture would have increase exposure sligthly in ps to make it less dark, overall very good job.
keep on sending photo

What a funny expression on this cute doggie. :)
Beautiful colors here, too!

Thanks Ladybug, this was one of those shots where you just hold the camera low to the floor and hope for the best lol, she was actually looking up at me, probably why she has a funny expression ! It came out well though and my trusty canon 400d picked the right focus spot for me.

Don't worry, they WERE playing :o) Taken in my caravan, they got so bored they decided to have a playfight, I had the camera near me so just picked it up and caught this, did I mention that they were posers too LOL. Canon EOS 400D, 28-90 USM lens

P.S. Look out for this photo maybe in the opening credits on a new TV program for Channel 5 that Shaun Ellis (The Wolfman) is doing some time in the future, he came and did some filming with Clay(See Pets Section) and the director asked if she could have a copy of the photo to maybe use, so fingers crossed :o)

Nice one. You shouldn't have told us they were just playing though - takes away from the mad rabid dog scariness!

Very warm and eye-catching tones, great silouhettes. The sky looks just a tad grainy, but other than that its a lovely shot.
Very creative!
