It was only sometime after I edited it the first time that I went back and de-saturated it, and I agree that it adds to the sombre mood of the shot.

It was taken in Nha Trang, Viet Nam.

Fantastic image! Is this, in fact, a street person, or is it somebody cleaning up the streets? We see a person without shoes with baskets full of what looks to be garbage, but from there we have to draw our own conclusions.

I see a woman sitting on her shoes to protect her clean linen pants. She is wearing a face mask to cut down on the odors from the garbage she has picked up off the streets: while trying to make her community a better place for everyone.

Look at it differently and the whole mood of the image changes.
