i like the idea of the image, the composition makes me uneasy for some reason, think it might involve to many verticals. If you crop it using only the one side with the beams say on the right - would it be easier on the eye?

I disagree with the above comment. (I find it rather pleasing.) I'd have to say the only thing that bothers me about the vertical post is that they aren't quite the same on either side. Not sure if that would have been possible to achieve or not in this case... Why can't it just be perfect!?! (Just kidding.)

The one thing that really catches my eye is probably the blown out sky. If there was any way to bring in some more details in the sky and add some contrast to the tower in the middle-ground that could really make this a much stronger image.

After looking at it a while longer I agree that the sky is a little too white...I will definitely fix that.

Industrial, but not very beautiful. I agree with that the sky is a bit blown out. But I also think that the subject is rather boring. I am not trying to be an ass, I just don't think the photo is very interesting. Maybe try out other angles?

Interesting perspective

I would be curious to see a black and white treatment...

Seems a little too busy for me but it's a very nice photograph. I wonder what it would look like if you cropped most of the bottom off so that you'll only see some of the pillars on the sides (thereby adding perspective) and then have the building (or whatever that is) in the middle. I think it would give more focus on the subject.

The vertical lines and pastel (not blown out) sky work well for me - it creates a sense of contrast and struggle that makes the image more appealing. It is meant to capture the nature of an industrial setting, so I don't expect softness and none is given in the subject.
